Product
Where do you source your tea from?
Our premium MOOD teas are sourced from Australia and all around the world. We work with one of the most reputable tea providers in Australia who source ingredients from their global network of friendly farmers for the best quality ingredients.
Are your teas suitable for vegans and vegetarians?
Our teas are vegan and vegetarian friendly. They’re blended using only the highest quality natural plant ingredients free from any animal products.
What are the tea bags made from, are they biodegradable and compostable?
They sure are! MOOD teabags can be placed in food recycling bins such as Food Only (FOO - burgundy-lid bins) or Food Organics Garden Organics (FOGO – green lid bins). Our tea bags are made from sugar cane and are free from synthetic fungicides, preservatives, pesticides and nanoparticle material. You get a premium tea bag, without the worry of plastics at MOOD.
Are there any glues or adhesives in your tea bags?
We work hard at creating minimal impact in everything we do, including the use of glues and adhesives. We don’t use any glue to attach the tea string to the bag, instead we use an Ultra Sonic Sealing technology. We use PLA laminate (a bioplastic is plastic that is derived from renewable, natural resources such as corn or sugarcane) used to attach the filter.
Do you have any plastic in your packaging?
We aim to be as light on the environment as possible and this includes the use of packaging. Your MOOD tea is packaged in a recyclable cardboard box. To keep the tea fresh, we’ve chosen to shrink wrap the box instead of individually wrapping the tea bags, making plastic use minimal.
Does MOOD tea expire?
As we use premium dried ingredients, your MOOD tea will last approximately one year from purchase date. Please check the expiry date on your tea box when you receive it.
Delivery
What is the shipping cost?
The shipping cost depends on where you are based, and how big your order is. The shopping cart will automatically calculate the shipping cost to you based on this. Our carrier is Sendle.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we only ship MOOD tea within Australia, although that may change in the future. Sign up to our newsletter to keep up to date with our latest news.
Do you ship to PO boxes?
Yes, we use Australia Post for deliveries so we can deliver to PO boxes.
What payment methods do you offer?
You can pay via Visa, Amex, Mastercard, ApplePay, Google Pay and PayPal.
What is your shipping policy?
We try our utmost to send your MOOD tea as quickly as possible, however sometimes there are delays.
In that instance, MOOD tea is not responsible for any deliveries affected by natural occurrences or delays as a result of delivery providers.
Our shipping time frame starts from the time of dispatch from our Sydney Warehouse. Please allow 3-5 business working days from your order confirmation. Please note this does not include weekdays or public holidays. Christmas and peak periods may impact these timeframes.
What is your return policy?
We want you to be as happy as possible with your MOOD tea. However, if you are not completely satisfied, please email hello@mood.org.au with your order number and state the reason for you return. Returns are only possible within 30 days of purchase and provided the product is in its original saleable condition.
Please note that we do not cover the cost of returning items. We will aim to get back to you within 1-2 working days of receiving your returned item.

Purchasing
How can I track my order?
Once your order has been placed, you will receive an email notification which will include a link to the tracking number. Here you can track your package.
How long will my order take to arrive?
If you are based in a Metropolitan city, then generally speaking, you should typically receive your order within 1-3 working days from confirmation of dispatch. If you are in a regional area of Australia, then please allow between 3 and 6 working days for your delivery to arrive. We partner with Australia Post to send parcels, and times may vary.
Can I amend my order?
Unfortunately, once your order has been made, we can’t make any amendments to it.

Are your flavours natural?
Yes, all of the flavouring used in our premium teas is naturally derived. What a mood!
What ingredients are in your teas?
We use only premium ingredients in our blends. Below are the ingredients for each of our flavours.

Cinnamon (29%), Lemon Balm (21%), Pineapple & Natural Pineapple Flavouring, Liquorice Root, Siberian Ginseng, Clove.
Happy Days
Hibiscus (27%), Apple (18%), Rosehip, Ashwagandha Root, Ginger, Liquorice Root, Natural Mixed Berry Flavour.
