Meet Yiliyapinya, our newest impact partner

At MOOD we make premium tea. Behind every cup sits a simple promise: 100% of our profits go to youth wellbeing programs across Australia. Today we are proud to introduce a partnership close to our heart.

MOOD is now supporting Yiliyapinya's Yili Program®, helping fund equine therapy for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people aged 7 to 17.

About the Yili Program

The Yili Program® supports young people who are disengaged from school or have recently exited youth detention. It is informed by neuroscience and grounded in culture.

Activities span literacy and numeracy, cognitive training, equine therapy, sport, cultural art and music, camps and podcasting. Every one has a purpose: to activate neuroplasticity, nurture culture and identity and support each young person's path toward school, training or employment.

The results are real. Stronger emotional regulation and decision-making. Deeper connection to country, community and self. Healthier everyday choices. Rebuilt family and community relationships. And greater readiness for whatever comes next.

The power of equine therapy

Our support helps fund the program's equine therapy. Working with horses gives young people a calm, relational and supportive space to build trust, practise emotional regulation and strengthen connection with themselves, others and their community.

It is hands-on and real. When Yiliyapinya asked the young people what had changed for them, their answers said it best:

"Helping me connect with other students, building better relationships."

"More patience with others since I have been here. Teaching me the right things to do in life."

"Learn more about my brain."

What this means for your cup

Nothing about your tea changes. It is still the same premium blend you reach for on a slow morning or a long afternoon. What changes is where your support goes. Every box, tin and pouch now helps fund practical, real-world wellbeing support for young people who need it.
